Already as a little girl, the Allg\u00e4u native discovered cycling for herself. Thanks to the support of various clubs and her parents, Veronika was soon able to pursue her passion professionally and compete in competitions. Her biggest motivation is to ride trails in different and exciting bike destinations. So her favorite playgrounds are Finale Ligure, Portes du Soleil and the French Vosges. When Veronika is not cycling she works full time or does other sports like climbing. Because of her job, an effective and efficient training is important for the racer. Veronika’s goals are to gain experience and pass it on to the next generation.<\/p>\n

What makes you special?<\/h1>\n

What are your goals?<\/h1>\n

My goals are to gain experience and to pass it on to the next generation. Personally, I try to build up my self-confidence and to perform in races that I am satisfied with.<\/p>\n

What are you doing before the start?<\/h1>\n

Before the start of a stage, I first check for the right start gear, make sure the lockout of my suspension is open and then as soon as I put on my goggle, I am fully focused.<\/p>\n

Because of my job, I try to train as effectively and efficiently as possible. That’s why I train mostly on trails in the area around my home.<\/p>\n
