Victory in La Thuile! Simona wins her first UCI World Cup in Elite – Actionteam 2nd in the team standings!
What a weekend in Italy! 🏆 Simona Kuchyňová crowns her impressive debut season with the CUBE Actionteam with her first win in the UCI Enduro World Cup. After two previous podiums, the young Slovakian rode away from everyone in La Thuile – on her CUBE Stereo ONE55. That also moves her up to 2nd in the overall standings.
Teammate Zakarias Johansen had to battle after a crash, but showed real grit and finished 20th – important points for the team!
Thanks to these two strong performances, the CUBE Actionteam sits 2nd overall in the team standings.
Now it’s time to take a breath, recover and then go full gas in France, where the World Cup finale awaits in August. Straight after that comes the next highlight – the Mountain Bike World Championships in Switzerland.
Claus Wachsmann, Team Manager:
“A really strong showing from our team this season! Simona’s win here in Italy in particular shows how well prepared we are. A big thank you to CUBE Bikes and all our partners – without you this wouldn’t have been possible!”
